Abstract
In dogs it was demonstrated that complete afferent vascular occlusion for a period of 1 hr. at normal body temps. resulted in 100% mortality. When the body temp. was reduced to 26-28[degree]C, however, this period of liver anoxia was more often tolerated, for only 3 of 11 dogs succumbed.Keywords
