Abstract
Whole cottonseed and cottonseed meal mixed with corn to give a protein content equal to cottonseed were compared as protein sources in concentrate mixtures for milking cows. Butter fat percentages and production of fat corrected milk were significantly higher (P< .01) and milk production (P < .05) on the cottonseed ration. Differences in roughage consumption and gains in body wt. were insignificant. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
