Abstract
Histamine release by injection of small amounts of 48/80 into human subjects is marked by decrease of mast cells in the skin (demonstrated by biopsy), local edema near the site of injection, vasodilatation, pruritus, cephalgia and other symptoms. Favorable effects were found on injection of 48/80 to patients with urticaria and other allergic manifestations. Keywords
