Abstract
The electronic structure of glassy and crystalline CuxTe1-x (0<or=x<or=0.58) alloys has been investigated with ultraviolet photo-electron spectroscopy (UPS). X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) have been used to characterise the samples. The UPS data indicate a metal-to-semiconductor transition near x=0.45.Keywords
