Abstract
Summary 55 persons suffering from rheumatoid arthritis were tested with intracutaneous Congo Red injections. It appeared that on an average Congo Red staining in the skin remained for 17.4 days. In 30 healthy controls this time was only 9.5 days. It is possible that amyloid deposits in the skin of rheumatoid arthritis patients causes this difference. Keywords
