Abstract
Cultures (64) of mycobacterial species and types were examined for penicillinase activity. All Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Group IV strains completely inactivated penicillin in this test system. Group I and Group II strains varied in their ability to inactivate penicillin. Penicillinase activity was not demonstrated in Group III.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
