Abstract
Dielectric relaxation studies in nematic mixtures of -pentyl--cyanonobiphenyl and -pentyl--cyanoterphenyl show two relaxation processes with different activation energies for . Dielectric relaxation with is predominantly a single-particle process and probes molecular interactions at large angles.
