Abstract
In an attempt to obtain more information about human transplantation antigens, substances derived from placental tissue were identified with the use of leukocyte agglutinin inhibition as a test system. The concentration and purification of the active fractions are described. On the basis of its stability to chemical procedures a lipoprotein structure for the active principle seems most likely. Keywords
