Abstract
A method is described for calculating instantaneous polymer composition for an n‐component system polymerizing under conditions where reversibility of the propagation reaction must be considered. The resulting equations are compared with Monte‐Carlo simulations and were also tested experimentally by using the terpolymerizing system acrylonitrile–methyl methacrylate–α‐methylstyrene over both a wide temperature and concentration range. Keywords
