Abstract
A rabbit injected with a purified commercial hyaluronidase preparation developed hemagglutinating antibodies to both bovine serum albumin (BSA) and bovine gamma globulin. Mice sensitized with pertussis vaccine and BSA developed symptoms of anaphylaxis after challenge with BSA or hyaluronidase. By hemagglutination inhibition tests as well as by anaphylaxis it was estimated that the hyaluronidase preparation contained .1-1% BSA.Keywords
