Toxoplasma gondii antibodies in Nigerian goats

Abstract
Toxoplasma gondii antibodies were detected in 27 of 848 sera from Nigerian breeds of goats. The significance of this finding in relation to livestock production and human public health in Nigeria is briefly discussed. Les anticorps deToxoplasma gondii ont été mis en évidence chez 27 des 848 sérums examinés en provenance de troupeaux de chèvres de la Nigeria. La signification de cette constatation en relation avec la production animale et la santé humaine dans cet Etat est brièvement discutée. Se detectaron anticuerpos de Toxoplasma gondii en 27 de 848 sueros de cabras en Nigeria. Se discute brevemente el significado de éste hallazgo go en relación con la producción ganadera y salud pública.Keywords
