Abstract
The frequency-selective limiter is presented as an adaptive filter system element. The operating mechanisms of various types of frequency-selective limiters are described and classified. The transient response, small-signal suppression, and intermodulation characteristics are presented for comparison. The application of frequency-selective limiters in particular EMI situations is discussed, and required device parameters are shown to depend on the application. Keywords
