Aphid Collections in the Yakima Valley of Washington, 1947–53

Abstract
In trapping aphids with tanglefoot screens, sticky boards, wind traps and yellow trap pans, the last were the most effective. Sixty-six percent were caught at ground level and decreasing numbers as the elevation was increased to 20 ft. A list of the species taken in the traps and collected directly from plants is given.
