Abstract
Studies of nomenclatural types of 9 spp. of tomentelloid fungi described by C. H. Peck are presented. Additional specimens are cited, providing many new geographic records and substratum relationships for North America. A dtmitic hyphal system is reported for Zygodesmus rubiginosus Peck and Tomentella coriaria (Peck) Board, et Galz. The following 2 names are placed In synonymy: Grandinia rudis Peck = Tomentella coriaria (Peck) Bourd. et Galz.; Zygodesmus rubiginosus Peck = Botryobaiidium isabellinum (Fries) P. P.
