Abstract
A comparison of some characteristics of the 2 guanosine triphosphatases (GTPase) and of the transfer enzymes is presented in 2 tables. The SH-dependence of GTPase I indicates that the enzyme is a component of the transfer system. Whether a separation of transfer factor I and GTPase I is possible or if both activities are present in the same enzyme requires further study. Factor II can be separated to a high degree from GTPase II without loss of the transfer activity. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
