Enantiomer Separation of n-1-Alkenyl-3-Acetates and of Alkyl Substituted 1,3-Dioxolanes by Complexation Gas Chromatography

Abstract
The simultaneous enantiomer separation of a homologous series of n-1-alkenyl-3-acetates on nickel(II)bis[3-(heptafluorobutanoyl)-(1R)-camphorate] and of alkyl-substituted 1,3-dioxolanes containing three chiral centers on nickel(II)bis[3-(heptafluorobutanoyl)-(1R)-camphorate] and on nickel(II)bis [3-(heptafiuorobutanoyl)-(1R,2S)-pinan-4-onate] by complexation gas chromatography is described. The method allows the rapid screening of the stereochemistry of the title compounds in biological mixtures.
