Abstract
Two new Ty determined proteins have been identified by placing a Ty transcriptional unit under the control of a high efficiency yeast expression vector. One of these proteins is the product of a post-translational processing event and it binds nucleic acids. A previously identified protein, pl(Tyl–15), has also been shown to bind nucleic acids and to be modified by phosphorylation. Keywords
