Abstract
The effect of gadolinium-diethylene-triamine-penta-acetic acid (Gd-DTPA) on normal, mini-pig myocardium was investigated with magnetic resonance imaging. Results indicate that intravenous administration of Gd-DTPA produces a significant enhancement of mini-pig myocardial signal intensity, which in all cases was maintained in excess of 50 min. No significant enhancement was demonstrated in skeletal muscle. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
