Abstract
Nonlinear ferromagnetic resonance phenomena are described by a simple classical 'stroboscopic model' (SM), which integrates the spin precession between the strobing times analytically. For small polar angles of the spin precession, the SM is equivalent to the S theory of Zakharov et al. (1975), which uses the Holstein-Primakoff transformation in the classical limit. In contrast with the S theory, the SM is also valid for large precession angles. Keywords
