Abstract
We present a complete determination of the thermal expansion and the elastic constants tensors in LaP5O14, between 20°C and 200°C, across the 126°C ferroelastic phase transition of this material. The transition is a second order one. Two phenomenological models are consistent with our measurements. Keywords
