Abstract
A frozen-core valence-shell L2 CI calculation has been employed to investigate the bound and continuum states of atomic magnesium below the 3p ionisation threshold. The positions and widths of the autoionising states have been calculated and the reclassification of several doubly excited levels is suggested.Keywords
