Abstract
Yield curves for the elastic scattering of by were measured simultaneously at 17 angles over the bombarding energy range 12.0-18.6 MeV. Inelastic scattering yield curves were measured at selected angles for the same energy range. Detailed angular distributions for both elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at 16, 17, and 18 MeV. The elastic scattering was analyzed with the optical model. Results indicate that a surface absorptive potential is equivalent to a volume absorption with a much larger radius. Optical parameters used to produce a reasonable representation of the angular distributions at all three energies are: MeV, MeV, , , F, F, and F.
