Abstract
The infrared and Raman frequencies of liquid VOCl3 (of symmetry C3v) have been measured. The a1 fundamentals are 1035, 408, and 165 cm—1; those of species e are 504, 249, and 129 cm—1. Most of the fifteen remaining bands can be explained as combinations of these.Keywords
