Abstract
"EXPERIMENTAL intersexes have been produced by the administration of androgens to the gravid mouse, rat, hamster, ground hog, porcupine, guinea pig, rabbit and monkey. Recently, this experiment was unwittingly reproduced in the human being, and female pseudohermaphrodites born of mothers treated with androgens during pregnancy have been reported. To focus the attention of the physician at large upon this problem, the following case is reported.Case ReportThe infant (M.G.H. 96–73–65) was born at term of a 28-year-old gravida 4 who had a 6-year-old living normal daughter.
