Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 79-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of an abdominal mass.She was in excellent health until 16 months earlier, when she began to have vague pain in the right side of the abdomen. A physician found mild right abdominal tenderness, without other abnormality. Her weight was 64 kg. The hematocrit was 38.8 per cent. A barium-enema examination and an oral cholecystographic study were negative. Her symptoms appeared to improve.
