Abstract
High-resolution ultraviolet photoelectron spectra excited by HeII radiation have been measured for Sc, ScAg, ScPd, ScIr and ScRu. They are shown to be consistent with recent bandstructure calculations which found that there are d-contributions to the density of states near EF, originating from the Sc site in ScAg and ScPd, possibly from both sites in ScIr and from the Ru site in ScRu.Keywords
