Abstract
A theory is given for fitting weighted complex data to a given function. The method is illustrated with two examples from the field of dielectrics: one for real data and the other for complex data. It is shown that the inclusion of weighting factors alters the parameter estimates as well as reducing the confidence intervals. Keywords
