Abstract
This article focuses on complications in colonoscopy related to colonic insufflation. Causes of colonic insufflation complications are examined and methods that may be used to minimize complications are proposed. Testing of state-of-the-art video colonoscope systems is the basis of this analysis of insufflation complications and the resulting recommendations. Keywords
