Abdominal Angiography

Abstract
Angiography of the Adrenal GlandPlain radiographs of the abdomen, intravenous urograms and retroperitoneal insufflation of carbon dioxide followed by tomography have all been used in the past to study the adrenal glands, but none offer the high diagnostic accuracy obtainable with the angiographic technics currently available. The adrenal glands can be adequately studied by selective injection of contrast medium into either an adrenal artery or into an adrenal vein.
