Abstract
Two patients with lung hæmorrhage and nephritis (Goodpasture's syndrome) are described. It is suggested that the effectiveness of long‐term steroid therapy in this condition is uncertain and that cases that remit may do so spontaneously. If the condition progresses despite drug therapy, chronic dialysis or renal transplantation should be considered. Keywords
