Abstract
The laser‐related spectroscopic parameters such as the laser transition cross section and fluorescence lifetime of the compositions LiNd0.5Gd0.5P4012 and LiNd0.5La0.5P4O12 were examined. The products of the measured emission cross section and fluorescence lifetime of the 4F3/2 manifold in the mixed crystals were estimated to be very close to the product in the pure LiNdP4012 crystal. The laser emission was linearly polarized along the pseudoorthorhombic c axis of the crystal in these mixed crystals, as was done for LNP.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
