One-dimensional planar ferromagnet in an inclined field

Abstract
It is shown that the presence of an additional magnetic field component B̃ parallel to the chains of a one-dimensional planar ferromagnet in a conventional in-plane field B changes the stability of the kink excitations and leads to a measurable gap in the dynamical structure factor [S(q,ω)=0 for |ω|<ωmin(B̃)] and an enhancement of the integrated intensity I=dωS(q,ω) up to 50%.
