Abstract
In a fifty-one-year-old female patient, bilateral fibromuscular dysplasia of the internal carotid artery was treated during surgery with intraluminal dilata tion. The backflow excludes the occurrence of cerebral embolism. The method and its possibilities are discussed.Keywords
