Fluoreszenzfarbstoffe mit Fünfring‐Carbonsäureimid‐Strukturen

Abstract
Fluorescent Dyes with Five‐membered Ring Carboximide SubstructuresThe preparation of derivatives of benzoperylene (3), coronene (4), and benzoperiflanthene (5) with five‐membered ring carboximide substructures is reported. The dyes exhibit high photostabilities and have fluorescent quantum yields of 42, 47, and 34%. The solubility of the dyes is increased by substitution with tert‐butyl groups so that the dyes can be used in homogeneous solution.
