Abstract
Considering the multinomial sampling of genotypes, unbiased estimators of various gene diversity measures in subdivided populations are presented. Using these quantities, formulae for estimating Wright's fixation indices (FIS, FIT, and FST) from a finite sample are developed.Keywords
