Abstract
Acidity, specific conductivity and calcium concentration have been estimated for several series of fen and bog waters, with seventy samples from the English Lake District and twenty-two from Scotland. An attempt has been made to correlate vegetation types and water chemistry, with special reference to the conditions under which Sphagnum carpets may become established. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
