Abstract
The illusions associated with the perception of static tilt in various specific force environments were reviewed and then classified. A simple perceptual model can be developed to account for the experimental data. These illusions can be accounted for by a simple non-linear transformation of the information primarily from the saccule. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
