Gastrectomy in a Community Hospital

Abstract
THIS report is an evaluation of the results of gastrectomy in one surgeon's practice in a community hospital (Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester, Massachusetts) since 1946.Although this procedure is now widely used, and the literature contains many papers on its various aspects,1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 no studies regarding its results in community hospitals have been noted.
