Abstract
We show how relations among various classes of asymmetries in decays can be used to test the unitarity of the three-generation Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix, independently of the mechanism of mixing in the and systems. We suggest various ways to determine the sign of , independently of the sign of the parameter.
