Abstract
Sp.gr. detns. were made upon the plasma samples of water-deprived rats and upon plasma samples of rats maintained on an ad libitum drinking regimen. The mean sp. gr. of the former group was found to be significantly greater. It was concluded that a decrement in plasma water vol. occurs during severe water privation in the rat. Keywords
