Abstract
It is shown that, by driving an electroabsorption modulator with a dual-frequency RF drive, it is possible to decrease the duty cycle attainable to as little as 3.5%, making it possible to demultiplex from 40 to 2.5 Gbit/s using a single device.Keywords
