Abstract

We have measured the branching ratio

\frac{({K_{S}}^{0} \to π^{+} π^{-})}{({K_{S}}^{0} \to π^{0} π^{0})}

to be 2.22 ± 0.095, using a total of ∼ 32 000

{\bar{K}}^{0}

's produced by

K^{-}

charge exchange.
