Abstract
The potential separable expansion method has been generalised to calculating bound and resonant states in Coulomb-like potentials. The complete set of Coulomb-Sturmian functions was taken as the basis to expand the short-range potential. On this basis the matrix elements of the Coulomb-Green functions have been given in closed form as functions of the (complex) energy. The feasibility of the method is demonstrated by a numerical example. Keywords
