Abstract
A formulation of charge transfer in simple alloys has been proposed in conjunction with the experimental results of positron annihilation. An application is made for the Li-Mg system. The positron localisation at Li sites in Mg rich alloys may be attributed to the effect of a charge transfer from Mg to Li atomic cell rather than Li clustering in the alloy. Keywords
