Abstract
The temperature dependences of the rate coefficients for the associative detachment reactions O−+NO, S−+CO, and S−+O2 have been measured. All rate coefficients varied as T −0.74±0.1. In addition, the rate coefficients and branching ratios for the reactions O−+C2H2 and O−+C2H4 have also been studied as a function of temperature. Both reactions were found to have a large associative detachment channel over the entire temperature range 140–494 K.Keywords
