Abstract
Eight expts. are reported. When the rectus muscles are selectively employed in fixation it is possible to perceive which of the 2 retinas has been briefly stimulated by a light flash of small area. The evidence seems to justify the conclusion that without kinesthetic cues a visual stimulus alone does not serve for judging which eye is stimulated. The sphincter muscles are not necessary to the discrimination. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
