Abstract
Deductions made from Makidono's (1956) observations of the movements of ascarids in the small intestine of man and from findings at surgical operations and post-mortem examinations of the positions of ascarids causing clinical disturbances have been used to build a concept of the behaviour of ascarids under normal and abnormal conditions. Keywords
