Abstract
Derivatives of purified prothrombin and substances required for the formation of a derivative have been studied in connection with SPCA deficient plasma. The deficiency can be corrected in vitro with prothrombin derivatives. It is concluded that the SPCA patient cannot convert prothrombin to autoprothrombin and thrombin in the same way as a normal individual, and that the precursor of SPCA is prothrombin. Keywords
