Abstract
Administration of cortisone acetate to adult rabbits produced osteoporosis. Calcium gluconate given orally or intraperi-toneally failed to influence the development of this skeletal disorder. The parathyroid glands appeared abnormal in the animals given costisone acetate and calcium gluconate and in those given cortisone acetate alone. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
