Abstract
For a small magnetic excitation H below magnetic saturation, a nonlinearity term proportional to H3 is added to the conventional B-H behavior for glassy Perminvar alloys. The additional nonlinearity term results in generation of even harmonics with similar amplitudes as the conventional odd harmonics. This effect can be utilized in systems identifying multiple objects carrying precoded markers made of small strips of these materials. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
